Grooming at O'Connor

We're Going to Need a Bigger Brush

Grooming, by people who also know your pet’s health history.

Somebody has to deal with the mats, the shedding, the nails nobody can get near, and whatever they rolled in on Tuesday. That’s us.

Our grooming service runs out of the same clinic that handles your pet’s exams and vaccines, which means the person washing your dog can flag the lump, the ear infection, or the sore paw while they’re already in there — and a vet is down the hall if something needs a second look.

Two services, clear pricing, no upselling at pickup.

Why Groom With Your Vet

Health checks come free with the shampoo

Groomers see skin, ears, nails, and lumps up close. Ours know what to flag and who to hand it to.

A vet is on site

If something turns up mid-groom — an ear infection, a hot spot, a nail quicked too short — it gets handled, not sent home.

Your pet's history is already on file

Allergies, anxiety, past reactions, and handling notes are in the chart before they arrive.

One place for everything

Book a groom alongside an exam or a nail trim and do a single trip.

Open late, every day

Appointments 7 days a week.

What You Need to Know

Both include a bath and dry, ear cleaning, a nail trim, and a brush out. A groom adds hairstyling — a clip, trim, or breed-appropriate cut. If your pet’s coat just needs cleaning and tidying, a bath is enough. If it needs shaping or shortening, book the groom.

Coat length, size, and condition all change how long a groom takes. A short-coated small dog and a matted long-coated large one aren’t the same job. We’ll give you a firm price when you book.

Severe matting is uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe to brush out. In those cases the kindest option is usually a shave-down, and we’ll talk it through with you before doing anything.

First grooms take longer. Puppies need breaks, reassurance, and a slow introduction to clippers and dryers, and the $10 covers that extra time. It’s an investment in them not hating this for the next twelve years.
